Mayer's leading recycling software products share the same functions and features, so what's the catch? Materials Manager SB is aimed at single site, single company operations and therefore multi-company functionality is not available in Materials Manager SB. Materials Manager SB also utilizes in-built database technology to provide a low maintenance, cost effective solution for a limited number of users (5 or less). Materials Manager, on the other hand, can deal with many companies and many hundreds of users, all online, simultaneously and within a single system.

Integrated Database

Materials Manager SB comes complete with a world class Microsoft database, MSDE. MSDE is an SQL Server compatible database product that provides enhanced reliability and security features that you won't find in other product such as Microsoft Access or similar "desktop" database products. This database can grow with your business, catering for millions of transactions. And when your ready to upgrade toe the full Materials Manager product, all your data can be converted quickly and easily.

Networking

For a multi-user system, all you require is a local area network. The database can reside on one of your existing PC's and doesn't require a dedicated server.

Scale Integration

Integration with your scale is achieved through the PC's serial port. As long as your scale has a serial port output we can usually configure our scale software to pull weights in directly from the scale.
