Technical Overview
Mayer Scale Manager is an integrated scale receiving application that links directly with your scale hardware to reduce the keying of weights and the possibility for scale related fraud.

Built in Resilience

Scale Manager can be configured to update the central database in real-time. For remote locations, Scale Manager can be configured to hold its own information locally which is then later synchronized with the central database using Mayer's unique Polling Manager system.

Polling Manager synchronizes the latest transaction information from many remote scales with the central database, including vendors, customers, contracts, commodities etc.

Should network links or central servers fail, Scale Manager allows operators to continue processing even though the central database is offline. Once the central system comes back online, Polling Manager performs an automatic synchronization to get all data back up to date.

Scale Integration

Integration with your scale is achieved through the PC's serial port. As long as your scale has a serial port output we can usually configure our scale software to pull weights in directly from the scale. No additional hardware or software is required.

Multiple Stations

Many scales can be linked and controlled by a single PC. Utilizing more than one PC provides for more efficient operations when the site has more than one scale. Using a networked linked system, vehicles can be weighed in on one PC/Scale and weighed out on the other PC/Scale.

This can be particularly useful for the master weighing of non-ferrous loads which are then weighed separately on a platform scale keeping all information attached to the same transaction, all on line.

Video Capture

Scale Manager can also be configured to take and store snapshot images of trucks at any stage of weighing.
