Companies can set the parameters within the application to define
what constitutes a delay within the plant. The system then
determines when a delay occurs and logs the details, rather than
the decision being left to the plant management.
Because the process is automatic it accounts for every delay,
reporting on exact duration and frequency. With this information a
company's plant availability and production throughput can be
accurately assessed.
Furthermore, touch screen plant maps can be developed which allow
the operator to drill down through the graphical representations
to determine the precise area where the delay occurred and the
reason why.

-
Graphical reporting with drill down capability
When a delay occurs, the system immediately starts tracking its
duration and presents the operator the Delay Identification
screen for quick pinpointing of the reason for the delay.
"Instant" delay buttons, representing the most common delays
allow "one touch" delay identification

For
other delays, the operator can drill down through graphical
representations of the plant using the touch screen.
